This may be the right Journey if...

You want to finish one specific book without turning reading into a productivity project
You can make room for several short reading sessions during the next two weeks
A small set of notes would make the result more useful

What you should have after 14 days

Complete the selected book or make a deliberate decision to stop after review
Keep 3–5 useful notes or one short summary
Choose whether and how to continue the reading rhythm

What this Journey includes

1

Choose the book and define finished

Confirm the book, remaining length, and what a useful finish means.

2

Set a realistic pace

Divide the remaining reading across the days you can actually use.

3

Review the first sessions

Use missed or difficult sessions to resize or reschedule the plan.

4

Finish and close the Journey

Complete the book, keep a useful summary, or make a deliberate stop.

When the plan goes off course

Missing a step is treated as information, not failure.

Northbound checks whether the step was too large, badly timed, blocked by a constraint, or no longer pointed at the right result. Then your Wayfinder offers one smaller, better-timed, or more honest next step.

Default adjustment: check constraint then resize or reschedule.

How setup works

1

Confirm that the Journey fits.

2

Adapt the result, pace, and reminders.

3

Review the plan before creating the private Journey.

Privacy and Companion

Your Wayfinder conversation and private notes stay private. A Personal Companion sees only milestones or summaries you explicitly share.

Continue on your own, or invite someone you trust at any time.

Questions people usually ask

What if I miss several reading days?

The plan is recalculated around the days and session size that remain. Missed days are treated as information, not failure.

Can I change the book after starting?

Yes. Northbound first helps you review why the current book no longer fits, then updates the result and pace.

Do I have to take notes?

No. Notes are optional and should only be kept when they make the result more useful to you.

Can I finish earlier?

Yes. The Journey ends when its useful result is reached, not when a timer expires.
